DU CTF 2023 - Terms and Conditions

WARNING: Unauthorized access or use of this CTF platform is strictly prohibited.

By participating in DU CTF 2023, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

• Fair Play: All participants are expected to compete fairly and honestly. Cheating, exploiting vulnerabilities, or using any unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.


• Team: One of the team member can initiate the team creation process, while other members can join the team by using a team password.


• Flag Sharing: Sharing flags, solutions, or answers with other participants, whether directly or indirectly, is strictly prohibited. This includes sharing via chat, forums, social media, or any other means. Holding of flags leading to leaderboard manipulation will also lead to team ban.


• Respectful Conduct: Treat all participants, organizers, and volunteers with respect and courtesy. Harassment, offensive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.


• Compliance with Local Laws: Participants are responsible for ensuring that their actions during the competition comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.

Team Duplication Rule:

To avoid any unfair advantages or disruption of the event, we strictly prohibit the creation of duplicate or fake teams. Duplicate teams refer to teams that share identical members or substantially similar information with other registered teams.

Consequences for Team Duplication or Creating Fake Teams:

If we discover any instances of team duplication or fake team creation, the following consequences will apply:

• Immediate Team Disqualification:
  Any team found to have duplicated members or created fake teams will be disqualified from the DU CTF 2023 event.


• Ban from Future Events:
  Team leaders and members involved in team duplication or the creation of fake teams may be banned from participating in future events hosted by our organization



Admin Authority:

• Admin Discretion: The CTF organizers and administrators reserve the right to make judgments and decisions on all matters, including rule interpretations, disputes, and code of conduct violations.


• Ban and Disqualification: The organizers have the authority to ban or disqualify any participant or team for violating these terms and conditions or engaging in any activities that compromise the integrity of the competition.


• Rule Changes: The organizers may update or modify the rules and conditions at any time during the competition if necessary, and participants are responsible for staying informed of any changes.



By participating in DU CTF 2023 - you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in penalties, including disqualification and banning from the competition.
